The 7th Hitchin Scout Group meet at the Scout Hut in the car park of Our Lady Catholic Church on Grove Road. The Group comprises of Beavers, Cubs and Sea Scouts.
All of our Scout sections welcome both boys and girls.
Our Scout Sections depend on the support of Parent helpers to ensure that we can offer rewarding experiences to our youngsters.

We rely on volunteers to offer our young people a varied and rewarding programme. Our numbers have grown dramatically in the last couple of years and we have a number of opportunities for volunteers to help support our growing group.

12 months of fun 2016
Beaver Colony (6 to 8 years)
Our Colony, led by Ian, meets on Mondays 6.00-7.00pm during school term where our Beavers enjoy a varied, fun and exciting programme.
Cubs (8 to 10.5 years)
Our Cubs enjoy a number of activities both within the hut and when the weather permits out and about around town.
Gavin is our pack Akela. Pack meets Mondays 7.15-8.15pm during school term time
Sea Scouts (10.5 to 14 years)
Our Scouts meet weekly and also enjoy getting out of the hut and in particular enjoy boating on the Blue Lagoon at Arlesey.
The Scout programme includes sailing, canoeing and raft building amongst other activities.
The Scout Leader is Karen. Scout troop meets Tuesdays 7.15-8.45pm during school term time.
